Do not try to save the whole world or do anything grandiose. Instead, create a clearing in the dense forest of your life

How do we lead when pressure, uncertainty and complexity increase?

Calm Leadership is about creating space to notice what is happening, choose how to respond and lead with more clarity.

Each session combines meditation, reflection and writing exercises with impulses from “The 15 Commitments of Conscious Leadership” and other sources. The content is shaped by the questions and situations you bring into the group.

What we practise

  • Pause instead of automatically reacting.Create space between what happens and how we respond.
  • Notice our own patterns.Recognise the habits, assumptions and reactions that shape the way we lead.
  • Expand our perspective.Look at situations from different angles and question the stories we tell ourselves.
  • Lead with greater clarity and intention.Make conscious choices about how we want to show up — especially when things get difficult.

With Elisabeth Samhaber

She turns thinking into something you can experience.

Elisabeth Samhaber has spent 15+ years at the intersection of strategy, innovation, leadership and culture — as a sociologist, management consultant and former managing director of a strategy and design consultancy (Brainds (opens in a new tab)), working with corporates, mid-sized companies and start-ups.

Her work has always moved between thinking and making. Alongside strategy and transformation work, she has designed tools, serious games, workshops and other experiences that help people explore complex questions, see things differently and turn ideas into action.

A long-standing meditation practice adds another dimension to this work: attention, inner clarity and presence as the foundation for conscious action. It has shaped how she thinks about leadership, learning and change — and what it means to create space for people to pause, notice and choose.

Future Skills Foundry is where these threads meet: strategy and inner work, thinking and making, ideas and experiences.
